My Story

THIS IS MY STORY

I'm Katie Unicorn, and I am a Landscape Architect (no, I don't mow your lawn, lol). We're the folks who design parks, plazas, planting, and everything in between the buildings you live and work in.

I was taught bigger is better. But bigger and better led to some serious disillusionment working on projects that took years to complete. Then, finally, I realized that small spaces are where the magic happens. The gardens, the sunny nooks, the balconies, the little home offices, the breakfast bars. These are the spaces where we live our lives.

I believe a designer's role is not to treat your home and garden as their canvas. Instead, it's to help you make your space truly YOURS. So, work with me to bring whimsy and joy into your spaces through the power of spatial reasoning, pattern, color, texture, and layering!
